Our Story
Healthcare communication is broken. Patients struggle with fragmented portals, researchers face administrative burdens, and developers wrestle with compliance requirements that weren't designed for the modern era.
We founded Flusso because we believed there had to be a better way—a way to enable meaningful healthcare communication while truly respecting privacy, not just checking compliance boxes.
Our journey led us to Contextual Integrity, a privacy framework developed by Professor Helen Nissenbaum at Cornell Tech. This approach recognizes that privacy isn't about hiding information—it's about ensuring information flows appropriately based on context.
"Privacy is not about secrecy. It's about appropriate flow of information in context."
